The chateau was built in 1840 in the style of famous Italian architect Andrea Palladio. It is surrounded by three hectares of ground (8 acres), small river and a park with trees. The area around the chateau is very picturesque, it is located in Tournai area in Belgium - full of woods, valleys, rivers and lakes. The famous Tournai cathedral is designated by UNESCO a world heritage site - do not miss the opportunity to visit!
The chateau itself is 900 m2 and consists of 18 rooms. There are multiple bedrooms in the chateau, large living rooms, with fire places, old paintings, old style furniture etc.
There is a large outside area which we are going to take advantage of – both photographically and using to prepare a Ukrainian barbecue one evening.
Outside the chateau there is plenty of space for photos: beautiful courtyard, garden statues and a small river.
Parking is available for those who arrive by car.
Please note that this is an authentic classical Chateau and which does not have en-suite bathrooms. All rooms in the chateau are different.
